Blockchain-based technology is no longer a niche medium reserved only for cypherpunks and developers. It has grown into a multi-trillion dollar market that’s venturing into the mainstream, full speed ahead.
Many concepts emerge daily, but it appears that one is here to stay – Web3. The decentralized internet, as many commonly referred to it, is a promise of a field where ownership is put back in the hands of the users, regardless of whether it comes to money, personal data, progress, and whatnot.
That said, Aleksandr ‘Shurick’ Agapitov launched the X.LA Foundation – a project driven by the community and designed to improve the worker-employer relationship in the workplace.
With that said, it’s also worth noting that this relationship has also shifted quite a lot in the past couple of years as the COVID pandemic took its toll. It’s no coincidence that the world’s leading social media – Facebook – changed its corporate name to Meta in a bid to become builders of the metaverse.
What is the X.LA Foundation?
Web3’s core proposition is that it’s built on blockchain technology ergo, it’s distributed, permanent, transparent, and immutable. Leveraging these features allows for the delivery of quick connectivity without a central authority system. As such, it’s touted as something that has the potential to disrupt almost every industry while also putting advanced P2P internet service devoid of central institutions and granting users control of their data.
The X.LA Foundation is a community-driven project designed to change the corporate relationship in the workplace. It’s aimed at helping people become somewhat equal beneficiaries for the work and the input they provide while also allowing them to take advantage of state-of-the-art technologies.
Shurick Agapitov’s creation is intended to cater to regular folks whose contribution is appreciated, regardless of how small it might be. It’s designed to pioneer further steps in the development of the internet world.
With a team consisting of industry professionals, the project plans to create a community-driven platform where users will be the main stakeholders.
A User-Centric Approach
The project aims to reward people who have shared the journey with the team from the get-go. To achieve this, they will release a set of NFT collections one piece at a time. The founding members will be getting an exclusive invitation to the Telegram channel, where they will be able to chat privately with members of the XLA team and become the very first members of the project’s forum.
Agapitov, who also created Xsolla – a video game commerce company that’s powered by business and transaction engines, will be spearheading the takeover into the world of DeFi through this project that’s mainly driven by the community.
Xsolla will be the video game solutions provider, offering to solve issues and difficulties of marketing, monetization, and distribution.
This would help these platforms focus more on targeting their ideal audience, driving sales, and generating revenue.
In sum, the XLA Foundation plans to lay the groundwork for the overall growth of the Web3 economy as well as create a world where the regular person is rewarded adequately for his input towards the expansion of any given project.
